Dealing with Life

Through any one's life the question of what you want to be when you grow up seems to follow you around. It is always followed by, "You can do anything you want". But that is only true if you can hack the education process or win the lottery.

For instance, I would like to be a trillionare music sensation, spending my spare time writing short novels, and curing diseases. Likelihood of that happening, 0. Likelihood of anyone doing that just about the same, even if the Beibs turns out to be a genius. I am not just throwing a pity party for myself here; instead I want to make note of how important it really is to figuring out your life plan in its own time.

Lets be honest, very few people know at 6 what they are going to do at 40. Instead it takes years of taking classes, meeting people, trying jobs, and blind chance to find a life path. Every little interaction builds up to who you will turn out to be and how you will tackle a career. I am still trying to figure out what I want to do and it doesn't get easier if you love so many different things.

So just keep in mind that life will work itself out and if you cannot figure out what you want to do right away then relax because no one is sure what they are going to do with the rest of their lives.

First Post

Okay, so this is my first Blog post. Little apprehensive about posting, but no harm no foul right?

For those who might happen upon this Blog you might want to know what I will be posting about in the future. In reality it isn't anything specific, my title has no hidden meaning and I intend to just write what ever shit seems to happen in my head.

I am currently working on the prospect of teachers receiving better wages and what that would do to the field of education as we know it. If a teacher spends the majority of their time and life helping kids achieve something, anything really, than why shouldn't they be compensated for it. I'm not saying there are flaws with the education system and that it seems extremely easy to become a teacher, but those who could pass some mark as an educator should be paid handsomely. Our future is in the hands of our children and if our teachers keep quiting because they are run down, over worked, and under payed than our future is in the shiter.
